What is Spravato?
SPRAVATO is a CIII nasal spray that is used in conjunction with an oral anti depressant for the treatment of treatment-resistant depression (TRD) in adults.
SPRAVATO™ is intended for patient administration under the direct observation of a healthcare provider, and patients are required to be monitored by a healthcare provider for at least 2 hours after SPRAVATO™ administration. SPRAVATO™ will never be dispensed directly to a patient for home use.
How long does it take to work?
Spravato starts working very quickly. In clinical studies, many people who took Spravato felt improved depression symptoms within four hours of taking the drug.
